nkhorst application makes a call to function in a protected component. At the first communication, the

protected component checks if a valid license is available by making a call to the CodeMe

ter Service. When the

requiredlicenseisavailable,theprotectedcomponentdecryptstherequiredpartofthecomponentandexecutesthe

function. The CodeMeter Service periodically communicates to the CodeMeter USB Stick to ensure the Bronkhorst

SoftwareDongleispresentandthelicenseisstillvalid.
